History of the Reynolda Gardens and Village
You may be surprised to discover that Reynolda Village was not an actual village. It originated as part of the Reynolda family estate, which included the main house and farm buildings that now comprise the shops, offices and restaurants of Reynolda Village. The gardens that connect to our boutique are a part of the Reynolda Estate’s greenhouse and are over 100 years old. Both the village and gardens were revived after falling into disrepair by the husband of past Garden Club Council President, Loy McGill, in 1970. We have Paul McGill to thank for turning the village and gardens into the vibrant destination it is today!
